LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
 
 
It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I share this message with you.
 
The Surprise Historical Society held its first organizational meeting in March of 2009.
 
At that meeting were the individuals who were to constitute most of the Board and our future Officers.
 
The meeting brought together not only experienced, imaginative and dedicated people but a vital and energetic group who wanted to seek, preserve and share a new City's heritage.
 
Since that meeting, a Surprise history book has been completed and a museum site selected.  And, there is much more work to be done. 
 
We would like to introduce our Board members and Officers, listed below, and invite you to share in the enthusiasm and join the Society today (click membership application) to be a part of this exciting venture.
